Paper Presentation
“Securing HDF5 Plugins with Digital Signatures”
Join The HDF Group’s software engineer Glenn Song as she presents new work on enhancing HDF5 security through digital signature implementation for plugins. Plugins are valuable extensions that enhance the functionality of HDF5. They play a crucial role in adding custom features, such as various compression filters and VFDs, without requiring extensive changes to the source code. This work provides a novel approach to plugin authentication with real-world implementation strategies and a performance impact analysis
