Call for Participation

Submit your proposal – Presentation, Lightning Talk, or PosterSubmission Deadline Extended to June 30, 2023

The HDF5 library and toolset have been widely used to simplify management and access to scientific and engineering data with ubiquitous data solutions. With rapidly growing data across all domains of science and industry, HDF5 developers and the community have been building technologies that provide rapid, easy, and portable access to complex data. HDF5 has been extremely successful with a wide range of users and uses, and an ecosystem has formed around it. It has also been 25 years since the first version of the HDF5 library.

We invite the broader HDF5 user community to HDF5 User Group 2023 (HUG 2023) meeting. This meeting aims to facilitate a broader discussion among HDF5 users around the world and to celebrate the 25th birthday of HDF5. We will have invited talks and contributed presentations from HDF5 users and developers, student poster presentations, open discussions on future requirements of managing data, and an interactive tutorial on using HDF5 efficiently.

You’re invited to submit a presentation in one of the following categories, but not limited to them:

  • HDF5 Applications
  • HDF5 Technology
  • HDF5 Ecosystem
  • Future Trends & Needs

You can view prior year presentations for inspiration. Travel support is available for students – submit a presentation, lightning talk, or poster for consideration! We look forward to hearing from you!

Submit your proposal.
