The HDF Group developers created and currently support the following software for the JPSS project
High-level library for handling HDF5 object and region references
h5edit
h5augjpss
The HDF5 High-Level library provides easy and intuitive access to the JPSS data products. Most of the C and Fortran APIs may be of interest to any application developer who uses object and region references and hyperslab selections.
The HDF5 file editor, h5edit, is a tool for editing an HDF5 file.
The h5augjpss tool is a tool for modifying a JPSS product file to make it accessible by netCDF-4 based applications.
