In March 2007, THG released its first set of HDF5 .NET wrappers. The project was sponsored by Agilent. The .NET wrappers may be invoked from a C#, C++/CLI, or Visual Basic application. Basic functionality includes file, group, and dataset creation, plus writing and reading of data of atomic and compound datatypes. The release had drawn a fair amount of attention from HDF5 Windows users. THG is looking for sponsors to support additional work in HDF5 .NET.
