Release of Fortran 90 Prototype for * Visit the HDF home page * HDF5-1.2.2 * for up-to-date information * * * * http://hdf.ncsa.uiuc.edu/ * ******************************* - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Release of Fortran 90 Prototype for HDF5-1.2.2 ============================================== The latest version of the Fortran 90 prototype, tested with HDF5-1.2.2, is now available from the NCSA ftp server: ftp://ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu/HDF/HDF5/fortran/ This prototype was tested on the following platforms: DEC Alpha OSF1 version 4.0 IRIX64 6.5 (-64 bit option) IRIX64 6.5 (-64 bit option) parallel -- NOT fully tested ** Linux RedHat 6.1, Kernel 2.2.12 Solaris 2.6 and 2.7 **The parallel IRIX64 6.5 version was ONLY tested for "proof of concept". Pre-compiled binaries are available for the platforms tested, under: ftp://ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu/HDF/HDF5/fortran/bin/ The updated Reference Manual for the Fortran 90 API is also available: http://hdf.ncsa.uiuc.edu/HDF5/doc_dev_snapshot/Fortran90.ProtoR1_2/ In order to install and use this prototype, you must have the HDF5-1.2.2 and GZIP libraries installed.
