For information, documentation, and downloads see: http://hdf.ncsa.uiuc.edu/java-hdf-html/ Changes in this Release: ----------------------- * All bugs in our database were addressed. * The Java HDF Interface was upgraded: + The HDFArray class was extended to handle arrays of any class of 'Number', (i.e., 'Float' as well as 'float'). New Features in this Release: ---------------------------- * Vdata attributes are now displayed similarly to SDS attributes. Attributes on Vdata fields are displayed in the Vdata attributes. Terra Satellite Data Open to Public =================================== NASA has announced that data from the new Terra satellite is now available to the public. This satellite is the "flagship" of a series of satellites that will study long term global climate change. The data products use HDF.
