HDF 4.1r2 Documentation
=======================

The HDF 4.1r2 User's Guide is now available in PostScript and
PDF formats.   A new revision of the HDF 4.1r2 Reference Manual
is also available in PostScript and PDF.  The HTML versions of
these manuals have not yet been completed. 

You can download them from the HDF home page under HDF 4 
Documentation:

They can also be downloaded directly from the NCSA ftp server
(ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu) in the directories:

Java Products for Windows NT/95  
===============================

In case you haven't already noticed, the pre-compiled binaries for 
the Java Products on Windows NT/95 have been available since 
June 1, 1998.


IRIX 5.3 Support
================
We are planning on dropping support for IRIX 5.3 with future 
releases of HDF.
