HDF 4.1 Release 2 for Macintosh PowerPC and Windows NT/95
=========================================================

HDF 4.1 Release 2 for the Macintosh PowerPC and for Windows NT/95 is
now available on the NCSA anonymous ftp server (ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu).  

The source code and pre-compiled binaries for the Macintosh can be 
found in the directory:
    
    /HDF/HDF_Current/hqx/

The source code and pre-compiled binaries for Windows NT/95 can
be found in the directory:
   
   /HDF/HDF_Current/zip/

For information on what is new in HDF 4.1r2, please refer to
Newsletter 30, accessible from the HDF home page, as well as from
the NCSA ftp server in the directory:

   /HDF/newsletters/
