HDF5: High Level APIs

The HDF5 High Level APIs (application programming interfaces) consist of a set of functions built on top of the main HDF5 Library. The purpose of the high level APIs is either to define functions that perform more operations per call than the basic HDF5 interfaces or to build sets of functions that provide standard object definitions (like images or tables).
